To reserve a bed or room, please use our secure online booking engine. You will receive an immediate email confirmation of your reservation. You need a Visa Card or MasterCard to do so. A booking fee of 1.5 Euro will be charged to your credit card to verify that your card is valid as guarantee of your arrival. The remaining payment for your accommodation is due at any time during your stay here with us.


As we wish all of our guests to be happy here want to clarify a few things with you first:

  • We are a low-budget guesthouse / Bed and Breakfast. Our prices are the same as you would find in local Interlaken Hostels. Please check for yourself and see what our competition offers.
  • Don't come expecting flash, huge rooms with all creature comforts - there are plenty of 2- and 3- star hotels in town if you want that kind of luxury. Our 140 year old house has its character and our wooden floors and rooms are certainly not soundproof. Be assured, however, that our rooms are all kept very clean. We service your room daily, but bed linens and towels are changed only once every 3 days during your stay.
  • There is no lift in our guesthouse and all rooms are only accessible by climbing stairs. We are more than happy to assist you with carrying your baggage to your rooms. However, if you have mobility issues and stairs would pose a problem, you might be better suited elsewhere.
  • On each floor we have 2 toilets and 1 shower which are for our rooms with shared facilities. These are shared by a maximum of 7 persons per floor.
  • Out of respect for our guests wishing to have a good night's sleep, we enforce a quiet time from 11 PM onwards.
  • We have a friendly dog in our house named Monty.


  • Our Holiday Apartment "Seegärtli" and the Hotel Rugenpark B&B are located on opposite sides of town (approximately 40 minutes walking distance away from each other).
  • When you book our holiday apartment, you agree to a CHF 70 end-cleaning fee which is not included in the daily price of CHF 130.00. Please note our terms and agreements when booking.
  • Our Holiday Apartment is suitable for a maximum of 2 persons (no children or pets allowed).
  • We require a minimum stay of 3 consecutive nights in our Apartment
  • The Apartment is fully self-catering - we only serve breakfast in our B&B
  • If you wish, you may come and use the coin-operated laundry facilities in our B&B

  • You may cancel your reservation up to 4 full days before your arrival date at no charge. For cancellations received within 4 full days of your arrival date, the first night will be charged to your card. For multiple room bookings and reservations of 4 or more nights, up to the first 2 nights will be charged to your card if cancellations are not received before 5 full days of your arrival date.
  • Cancellations must be received in writing and are considered cancelled only after confirmation of the cancellation by the hotel.
